Here in Peru, babies go for a one week check-up and then a one month check-up (called a "control").  Maggie had difficulty latching in her first week and had not reached her birth weight for her one week visit to the doctor.  The doctor told me that he wasn't too worried.  He wanted to wait until the one month visit to decide if there was a worry.  Well... no worries.  Big girl has gained almost 2 lbs since that visit.  The cow works just fine.  :)
