We are the McKinzie Family. We have been on quite a journey to get to where we are today. Greg is from Tyler, TX. He majored in missions at Harding University with minors in psychology and Spanish. He earned his masters of Divinity from the Harding Graduate School in 2007. While working on his masters degree in Memphis, TN, Greg served part-time as a minister for Iglesia de Cristo. Megan grew up in Tullahoma, TN and also graduated from Harding University with a degree in middle level math/science education. She earned a masters in Curriculum and Instruction while teaching 7th grade science in Marion, AR. Greg and Megan married in 2004 and had Anastasia Grace (Ana Grace) in 2007. Margaret Kathryn (Maggie Kate) was born in July 2009 and is our first team member with dual citizenship.We have been part of a dream to do the mission of God in Peru since college. From 2007-2008, we moved with our teammates, Kyle and Larissa Smith (and Shaye), to live 6 months each with our two main supporting congregations. We moved to Arequipa, Peru in August of 2008 and have a commitment to live in the city for a minimum of five years.
